At Simplicated, our team’s experience goes well beyond filing licensing applications.
We’ve worked inside collection agencies, supported clients, managed compliance and quality assurance, resolved accounts, and led operations and training. Our backgrounds also include insurance, financial services, and legal counsel for the Accounts Receivable Management industry.
That range of experience helps us understand what’s behind each licensing request: the deadlines, the people involved, and the impact on your business. We bring that perspective to every client relationship, with a team that knows the ARM industry from many sides and is ready to do the hands-on work.
Our Founders
Simplicated was founded after years of experiencing the frustrations of collection agency licensing firsthand. We recognize the pain points agencies describe because we’ve faced them ourselves. Often agencies outsource their licensing, yet their teams are still spending hours completing forms, passing information back and forth, while still managing the process.

Bridget Thede
Bridget is Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to forming Simplicated, Bridget was a Paralegal and Licensing Specialist within a law firm which provided compliance and litigation defense to Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) businesses. Bridget has worked in the ARM industry for over fifteen years, having been in various roles inside a collection agency from Litigation & Compliance Administrator, Legal Assistant, Insurance Specialist and Marketing. Bridget obtained her Credit & Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) certification in 2019 and currently serves on the Iowa Collectors Association Board as Unit Secretary. Outside of work, Bridget enjoys summers at the lake, golfing, reading, time with friends and family, traveling with her husband, Aaron, and their two boys, as well as watching them play sports.
Mike Frost
Mike is Co-founder, President and CEO at Simplicated, Inc. He is also partner at Frost Echols, LLC, a law firm that provides compliance counsel and litigation defense to businesses in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry. Mike brings over twenty years of ARM experience, including fifteen years as a shareholder and member of the executive leadership team at a BPO company. His unique experience and understanding of operational and technical aspects of the ARM industry allows him to provide consultative services that are not available at most law firms or licensing practices. Outside of work, Mike enjoys attending classic car shows with his father and son, and spending summers on the water with his wife, five children, and five grandchildren.
Sarah Mullesch
Sarah is the Business Operations & Client Relations Manager and Licensing Specialist at Simplicated, Inc. Sarah has over twenty-one years of experience in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry, including seventeen years at a large collection agency, where she worked as a Client Services Supervisor and a Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager. Before that, Sarah spent four years as a Quality Assurance and Operations Supervisor for a large telecommunications corporation. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys camping, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
Molly Bray
Molly is the Operations & Training Manager and Licensing Specialist at Simplicated, Inc. Molly has fifteen years of experience in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry, with a background in account resolution, client communication, and negotiation. Before joining Simplicated, Molly worked as a collector at a large collection agency, where she handled government accounts and served as team captain. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa. Outside of work, Molly and her husband, Shane, enjoy coaching their two children’s soccer teams. She also loves reading, going on walks and bike rides, rewatching every episode of Friends, and a little friendly competition in trivia.
Debbie Jacobs
Debbie is a Licensing Specialist at Simplicated, Inc. She brings twenty-six years of experience in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry, including twenty years in Client Services at a large collection agency. She began her career as a Client Services Representative and advanced through leadership roles as a Supervisor and Manager. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and traveling with her husband and adult children. She especially loves visiting the mountains where they enjoy hiking.
Karrie Hekel
Karrie is a Licensing Specialist at Simplicated, Inc. She brings over twenty years of experience in quality assurance, operations, supplier management, and customer service. Her background includes managing supplier relationships, resolving quality issues, and developing training materials and processes. Karrie also has experience supervising employees and working with customers on delinquent accounts. Outside of work, Karrie enjoys spending time outdoors, all things Disney, and watching crime shows while snuggling with her not-so-little “babies,” Pebbles and Bambam, her two Neapolitan Mastiffs.
Heather Malek
Heather is a Licensing Specialist at Simplicated, Inc. She brings over twenty years of experience in financial services, insurance, trust administration, and client support. Her background includes managing client accounts, coordinating time-sensitive transactions, and helping clients navigate complex processes. Outside of work, Heather enjoys crafting, cheering on the Chicago Bears, and spending time outdoors with her husband Chuck, their children, and grandchildren.
